PRE-SCHOOL AND PRE-KINDERGARTEN PROGRAM (AGES 3 YEARS AND 4 YEARS)
Children must be 3 or 4 respectively by Sept. 1st. All school children must be toilet independent.

Three-year-old Program 5 full days
Three-year-old Program 5 half days
Three-year-old Program 3 full days (Tues., Weds., & Thurs.)
Three-year-old Program 3 half days (Tues., Weds., & Thurs.)
*Specials are held on the days the 3 day students are in school.
Full day schedule: 9:00 AM to 2:45 PM
Half day schedule: 9:00 AM to 11:45 AM
On the journey of Early Childhood education, children travel at a different pace according to their individual development, background of experience and needs. Education assists in the development of the total person spiritually, physically, socially, emotionally, and intellectually. Children have a tremendous potential for growth. Their God-given imagination and contemplative minds are eager for stimulation. In a warm, caring environment, teachers model and manifest Catholic beliefs, values, and attitudes. Young children are encouraged to develop a positive image of themselves and to respect others as they begin to live the Gospel Message.
Students participate in circle time where they begin learning pre-reading and social skills. Children have opportunities for discovery in themed center activities and small group instruction. Saint Aloysius believes that play time is essential for the development of social interaction and encouraging imagination and playtime is built into the daily schedule. Pre-Kindergarten children attend special classes such as Art, Library, Computer, Music, and Physical Education.
