Social Studies

 

The Elementary Social Studies Curriculum is based upon the standards established by the National Council for Social Studies. The curriculum is a combination of history, civics, geography, and economics.  The goals of the Social Studies Curriculum include the development of knowledge, skills, values, and social participation appropriate to the children’s age and grade level.  Our social studies courses are taught through the lens of our Catholic faith and enable our students to connect how our Church impacts the world.
